Mykias's Birthday outing

Mykias celebrated his twelfth birthday in the Pirates show in Magaluf. He was very taken by the fantastic show, and when the birthday cake was brought to the table his mother was visibly moved.

Wheel chair.

Mykias and his mother came to test and pick up the new wheel chair that arrived in Palma, from Madrid, last week. It is a very good one and they were very happy with it. It will clearly better his quality of life.
On future visits to our schools in Addis, Victoria will be able to take the parts and accessories Mykias might need as time goes by.

Champ!

Martha's third operation has been a success and we hope that she will be discharged from hospital in the next few days. We hope that she will have a tranquil convalescence and still enjoy the remainder of her stay in Mallorca...
It isn't easy to find such a special, brave and positive little girl. She's a real champ!

Birthday party and a 3hrs swimming marathon

On Sunday 9th Lydia celebrated her 5th birthday and Mykias and his mother came. There were also a few Ethiopian children and a long session was had in the pool.

Bamba at Marineland

Dear Bamba,

Thank you soooo much for all your kindness on our trip to Marineland . Without you we could not have put the smiles on the children´s faces. It was an experience that they will never forget. Myki is still talking about this big tall strong man who carried him down the steps to see the dolphins swimming underwater. Thank you for the posters....now everyone will know about Marineland in Ethiopa!!!!!!! Eldana, Marta, Lydia and Laura send you a big "abrazo" y muchisimos Gracias. Thanks to you their day was so very special.
