MYKIAS II comes for an operation…

Hello Mediterraneo folk!

We are delighted that Son Dureta has accepted Mykias II, a twelve year old Ethiopian boy,  for an operation on the chronic osteomietis in his arm, which has already caused problems in the use of his hand.
It is preferable that he comes to Spain rather than sending all the necessary material to Africa, above all because of the poor hygienic conditions in the Ethiopian hospitals.
It is going to be delicate surgery because it will need a transplant or a bone graft from his own body.
The chronic osteomietis is a chronic infection which causes the destruction of the bone.
Mykias will be coming to Mallorca accompanied by his father.
